Eligibility:

	Only applicants who have the required experience are eligible to take the certification examination
	Successful completion of approved apprenticeship program in the classification to which certification is sought
	On-the-job experience: Working for an Electrical Contractor performing various electrical tasks, up to 8000 hours
	30-60 day wait for DAS notice of application acceptance

Examination:

	All applicants MUST PASS a written examination, as established by the DAS for the type of certification desired. (approximately 60-90 days)
